A very excellent and good-natured ESL student, whom I taught in an Intro to Creative Writing class last spring, gave me these at the end of the semester.  However, they were wrapped up so pretty that I didn't have the heart to open them until now.  

Oh, the thing on the right is a bookmark, btw.  The detail doesn't really come through in the picture but the pendant has a cool picture of a tiger on it and the pen is covered in what I think are herons.  Sometimes, I love my job!
